..ayam, itek and the cats..

..if before..the women in my life..now it is.. the cats in my life..:)

..Ayam and Itek..both hardly a month old, 3 years ago..

..Ayam with daughter, Auji..

..Ayam on losing Itek..who drowned in a cat fight..

..Pakpong..

..Titi and Toti..

..their parents, Dodi and Moli...

..Lanun, son of Ayam..

..Itek..a non-conventional tom..

..Ayam with her litter of 6..the seventh died..

..cats have a way of evoking strange reactions in humans...there are those who cannot  stand them..urghh!! cats!! and detoured or chased them off with a stick..and yet, there are those who will pick up strays, washed them, feed them, give them names like Awang Jules, Angelina or Brad and take them through a short-cut straight to their hearts...for cats are intelligent animals, having developed through the ages the art of meowing and purring that will melt human hearts...

Abe Mat,
You're a man after my heart. So, Brad's asking. Is Ayam a widow now that Itek is gone? But he's really scratching his head thinking how he could afford to support 6 stepkits. heheheh.... purrr....meow! I like Lanun the best. He's kinda like Johhny Depp...

Pak Mat!

What an array of delightful cats!

Thanks for the ICT place and address. I shall venture out there when I'm in Trengganu again. Insha Allah.

Salaam!

All beauties! And my favs are Titi and Toti - soooooo adorable.

Alas, I am one who must love them from afar. I am hopelessly allergic to them: my eyes swell up, and my nose goes bonkers if even one is near :(

OMG!!!! Such beautiful babies! I love Ayam! Kenapalah panggil nama macam tu... kesianlah dia! Imagine Ayam going to the vet and the nurse calling out her name! What on earth?!?!

I love all of the pics esp the one of Ayam nursing her babies in the bottom photo. Reminds me when my fostered stray cat Keisha gave birth in my house and we waited for her all night, stroking her and giving her words of encouragement. Keisha and 3 of her babies have been vaccinated, neutered and adopted. The remaining 2 babies are with me, also vaccinated, neutered and pampered. They are my own flesh and blood. Just because I didn't physically give birth to them doesn't make them any less my children.

..justi, my kids and the kids are impossible to separate..they even played hide and seek together..

CO87..my children wicked sense of humor..but ayam in kelantanese dilect is aye..which could mean ayang..for sayang..anyway she is the reigning queen..spayed and healthy..and sometimes insisted on sleeping with me...
