..there was a time..

.after some time,  life becomes humdrum and almost routine..after all those adjustments in the early years, you reached a plateau where most things are serene and calm..there are no blips in the radar and no storms in teacups..you just got used to each other..whilst most things are done in a tandem, labelled and categorised, there are no sudden rush of blood to the head or a fluttering of heart-beats..there are no excitement, either..even sex becomes routine..

..but once in a while..a touch becomes as fresh as a newborn's cheek..a whiff of familiar perfume suddenly intoxicates..and a smile becomes salacious..

..for there will always be a time when something in the way a wife looks...that will take a husband's breath away..yeah..

Dear Pakmat, why does it always have to be smiles and perfume? Why isn't seeing your wife slaving over a hot kuali dripping in sweat after nursing a cut figure... breathtakingly sexy ?

The way she moves

Treat your woman right, ok?

Tommy

Dear Pak Mat,

May Allah keep you well this Ramadhan (and after).

I notice that Cat-in-Sydney comes here and she (?) purrs cutely and, I presume, coyly. When she (again, ?) comes to my page, s/he roars. Is the air in my blog harsher, is yours more soothing to the feline soul?

I enjoy your writing, Pakmat. And like you, I too was brought up on the NST (and Utusan Melayu, the Jawi wang, not the Rumi Utusang Malaysia).

Power to your elbow.

Mintak laluan sikit Abe Mat,

Dear Uncle AG,
It was another cat from the brood that visited you - Michael - he's a boy, therefore the roar. You'll get a purrr too as the alluring Angelina (that's me!) has reclaimed her blog. purrrr.....meow!

Thanks Abe Mat.

friends, in truth you do me honour by stopping by..:)..and you flatter me when you care to read and old man's take on his life in general..I tried to speak out with candour, certainly without malice..and if, sometimes, someone like Awang Goneng, hung his hat here for a breather, then you all have to forgive me if I took out my mat and spread it out for him to cross-leg..

tommy..I knew you have an active imagination..:)

ag..I think it is the soft breeze, swaying casuarina and white sparkling sand of Irama Beach..cats are known to go gaga over such combination...salam Ramadan to you, too..

jm..we have to work at it, jm..to keep the sparks flying..:)

lady kama..no, just a man..trying to make the interest last..:)

cats in Sydney..how about a woman swinging a cangkul..? isn't that the sexiest thing on earth this side of Bachok?
regards to Michael..:)

mekyam..I think it was more of a surprise than a shudder..at my wordplay....hehehe..
