..cataract for the elderly..

...at some point last year, 2008, my left eye becomes blurred...chuan, the guy running a small gold shop next door said it is cataract...and if i dont get medical attention fast...i will go blind...what are advices for if not to be ignored?...until a few months later it turns red...and redder...the local clinic gave some drops...and it turned redder...went to hospital...the young lady doctor gave it a look and referred me to the opthalmologist who scanned my affected eye and promptly had me warded.
..i had gloucoma...
